How we collect, use, and protect information across our website and employee app.

Last updated: August 6, 2026

Who We Are

All Things New Restoration ("we", "us", "our") is a restoration company serving the Seattle and Snohomish County area. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website and our employee mobile application ("the App").

Information We Collect on the Website

When you contact us through the website or by phone or email, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, phone number, email address, property address, and details about your restoration needs — so we can respond to your request and provide our services.

If we perform work for you, we also maintain project records, photos of the work site, estimates, invoices, insurance claim details, and payment records as needed to deliver and document our services.

Information We Collect in the Employee App

The App is used by our employees to manage restoration projects in the field. It is not available to the general public. For employees who use the App, we collect:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and phone number, used to operate your work account.
  • Photos and camera access — the camera is used to scan equipment QR codes, photograph project sites and equipment, and scan room dimensions. Photos you capture are uploaded to our project records.
  • Room scan data — room measurements captured while documenting a job site.
  • Calendar access — used only to sync your work schedule into your device calendar, when you enable it.
  • Face ID / biometric authentication — used only to unlock the App on your device. Biometric data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us.
  • Push notification tokens — a device token used to deliver work notifications (such as task assignments and mentions).
  • Time records — clock-in/clock-out times and project check-ins, used for payroll and project tracking.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide and document our restoration services, communicate with customers and insurers, coordinate work among our team, process invoices and payments, and comply with legal and insurance requirements.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising or tracking.

How Information Is Stored and Shared

Data is stored in secured cloud infrastructure: our database is hosted on MongoDB Atlas, and files such as photos and documents are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS S3). We share information only with service providers that help us operate:

  • Amazon Web Services — file and photo storage.
  • SendGrid — transactional email (invoices, contracts, notifications).
  • Stripe — secure payment processing. We never store your full card or bank details.
  • Google (Gemini) — automated translation of work notes into English.
  • Expo — delivery of push notifications to employee devices.

We may also share information with insurance carriers and adjusters as part of processing a claim you have asked us to work on, and where required by law.

Data Retention and Your Choices

We retain project and business records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and insurance obligations. Employees can disable camera, photo, calendar, notification, or Face ID permissions at any time in their device settings; some App features will be unavailable without them.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us using the details below. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.
